Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Protecting your personal data matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, for what purpose, on what legal basis, and what rights you have, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. Who we are (Data Controller)
The controller of your personal data is the relief Physical Therapy & Osteopathy practice, located at Leof. Mesogeion 131, Athens 115 26, Greece, tel. +30 21 0692 1513. For any matter concerning your personal data you can contact us using the details at the end of this policy.
2. What data we collect
We collect only the data necessary for the purpose for which you provide it. Through the appointment request form we collect: your full name, telephone number, email address, preferred day/time and the reason for your visit that you describe to us. During your visit to the clinic, as part of providing healthcare services, we also keep a record containing your health information, as required by applicable law for healthcare professionals.
3. Purpose and legal basis of processing
The contact details you provide through the form are used solely to contact you, respond to your request and arrange your appointment. The legal basis for this processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by submitting the form.
Keeping a record containing health information while providing our services is based on the performance of our service agreement and on compliance with our legal obligation (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR), as well as on the provision of healthcare (Article 9(2)(h) GDPR).
We do not use your data for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
4. How long we keep your data
Contact details submitted through the appointment form are kept for as long as is necessary to handle your request and, afterwards, for a reasonable period of up to 12 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Health record data is kept for the period required by Greek law for healthcare professionals. Once the relevant retention periods have passed, the data is securely deleted or anonymised.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. Your data may be accessible to technical service providers who work with us to operate the website and manage appointment requests (e.g. website hosting and email delivery services). These providers act as processors on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect your data. Data is transferred to third countries only where appropriate GDPR safeguards are in place.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data and to be informed about how it is processed.
You have the right to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, as well as the right to erasure (the 'right to be forgotten') where there is no longer a lawful reason to keep it.
You have the right to restrict processing, the right to object, and the right to data portability. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To exercise any of your rights, please contact us using the details at the end of this policy. We respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
7. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses only strictly necessary cookies for its proper operation. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies without your consent. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings.
8. Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Access to your data is limited to persons who need it in order to provide our services.
9. Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in legislation or in our services. The current version will always be available on this page, together with the last-updated date.
